隨著中科煉化項目建設的加快推進，項目磁吸效應日益凸顯，湛江開發區圍繞“五大產業發展計劃”加強招商選資又傳喜訊：11月10日下午，開發區與中科煉化公司開展聯合招商，三家石化業界知名企業將在東海島石化園區投資建設10多個項目。市委常委、開發區黨委書記梁培，中科煉化公司總經理吳惜偉等出席招商座談會。

據了解，將落戶東海島的項目分別是廣東眾和化塑有限公司10萬噸/年粗苯加氫和化工粒料重膜包裝袋、石蠟、硫硫包裝袋的生產服務等5個項目;廣東新華粵石化集團股份有限公司20萬噸/年二氧化碳廢氣回收等5個項目;茂名石化實華股份有限公司2.5噸/年碳五加氫石油樹脂等4個項目。上述項目建成投產后，將與中科煉化項目形成產業鏈條，有效實現資源再生利用，促進石化園區循環經濟發展。

會上，廣東眾和化塑有限公司、茂名石化實華股份有限公司、廣東新華粵石化集團股份有限公司分別介紹其公司的經營管理情況和項目投資意向。各公司紛紛表示，希望盡快落戶東海島石化園區，與中科煉化公司加快推進配套產業合作項目，實現互補共贏。

栽好梧桐樹，引得鳳凰來。中科煉化項目于2016年12月開始全面動工，計劃2019年投產。開發區在全力服務好中科煉化項目加快建設的同時，大力拓展石化產業鏈，著力打造具有世界先進水平的特大型石化基地，規劃建設37平方公里石化產業園，聘請新加坡知名公司優化園區規劃，并以中科煉化項目為龍頭，重點瞄準國際跨國化工企業、國內大型央屬化工龍頭企業，實施圖譜招商、定向招商、精準招商、以商引商，延伸石化產業鏈。目前，京信東海電廠、神州長城鵬尊項目、東海島港區公共碼頭等一批項目已落戶園區。

在招商座談會后，開發區立即與中科煉化乳膠粉公司召開建設聯席會議進行現場辦公，為中科煉化項目加快建設排憂解難，就加快推動招商項目盡快落地進行協調溝通。
