凱茵化工訊 據普氏能源資訊11月14日新加坡報道，據一位知情人士透露，在獲得地方當局的批準以后，臺灣亞東石化有限公司(OPTC)計劃在下周啟動其建在臺灣桃園的150萬噸/年的精對苯二甲酸廠。

　　該消息人士稱，新建的精對苯二甲酸廠S先將進行試運轉成核劑。標普 全Q普氏能源資訊此前曾報道說，這個精對苯二甲酸廠將在10月初完成試運轉。

　　OPTC目前在桃園運行另外兩個精對苯二甲酸廠，它們分別是40萬噸/年的1號廠和50萬噸/年的2號廠。

　　盡管OPTC官員此前曾說，當這個新廠開始生產時，40萬噸/年的1號廠將持續關閉，但消息人士補充說，是否持續關閉將取決于市場行情。

Taiwan OPTC plans to start next week, the new plant of terephthalic acid

According to an informed source, Taiwan's Oriental Chemical (OPTC) plans to launch its construction project next week Taiwan's Taoyuan 1.5 million tons / year of refined terephthalic acid plant.

The source said the new refinery terephthalate plant will first be commissioned. Standard & Poor's Global Platts has previously reported that the refined terephthalic acid plant will be commissioned in early October.

OPTC currently operates two other terephthalic acid plants in Taoyuan, the No. 1 plant with a capacity of 400,000 tons / year and the No. 2 plant with a capacity of 500,000 tons / year. Although the OPTC officials said earlier that the 400,000 tpy plant will be permanently closed when the new plant starts production, sources close out that the decision to close permanently will depend on the market.
