凱茵化工訊 美國涂料巨頭PPG公司12月4日宣布，已經完成投資140萬美元對法國紹塞埃地區圣瑞斯縣的汽杜邦鈦白粉 R-104車膠粘劑和密封劑生產廠和研發中心升級廠。

　　對廠的升級措施包括建立新的結構膠粘劑和水性液態車身隔音減振材料生產單元，改進實驗室和測試空間，升級設備以模擬客戶汽車車身的車間生產條件，以及提高技術能力。

　　PPG對汽車膠粘劑和密封劑研發中心的的試驗區進行了升級改造。采用先進的機器人、精密的分發系統、流量計和調節設備，以更準確的方式再現了客戶涂料和車身車間的生產線。

　　對廠設備的更新縮短了產品的實驗室構想和批量生產之間的流程，使其能更快地在客戶的廠進行試驗。

PPG Invests $ 1.4 Million to Upgrade Automotive Adhesives and Sealants Plant

KAYNE Chemical News American paint giant PPG announced on December 4 that it has completed an investment of $ 1.4 million to upgrade its automotive adhesive and sealant manufacturing plant and R & D center in Saint Reith, France.

Plant upgrades include the creation of new structural adhesives and aqueous liquid body acoustic damping material production cells, improvements in laboratory and test space, equipment upgrades to simulate shop floor conditions for customer car bodies, and technology enhancements ability.

PPG has upgraded the test area of ??the Automotive Adhesives and Sealants R & D Center. Using advanced robots, sophisticated dispensing systems, flow meters and conditioning equipment, the lines of customer coatings and body shops are reproduced in a more accurate way.

The update to plant equipment shortens the flow between the product's laboratory concept and mass production, allowing it to be tested more quickly at the customer's facility.
