Most American politicians have acted in a stupid way as far as their foreign
policies are concerned… They encouraged terrorists in Afghanistan against Soviets
and later on faced terror attacts on their own soil, which was carried out by the
same terrorists from Afghan (as per U.S views)… Later on Afghanistan was attacked
and millions killed in the name of war on terror… Americans said Iraq had WMD and attacked without U.N approval (Shameless NATO forces joined the U.S) and the result
was similar to Afghanistan but more cruel… Millions killed and at the end no WMD found…. U.S gained nothing form Iraq war but lost many soldiers… They lost billions
in those wars and ended with economic difficulties… When the world is in a dangerous situation, the U.S unnecessarily provokes Russia by installing air defence systems at East European countries thereby creating enemity between these countries and the Russians… Instead of reducing their nuclear weapons, the Americans preach others not to have their own nuclear weapons, for their defence, which is absolute stupidity….

LOL, I agree greatly with this article BUT, take into mind that not ALL Americans are stupid. I’m Arab but I was born in America, sure its high tech and stuff but the people who really make
America run are the Immigrants coming from undeveloped countries. My family came from an undeveloped country and ( I don’t mean to brag or anything) my dad has Doctors degree (phd) my mom ( business degree, simple … i know..) I take advanced classes (not honors, CATS (Chandler Academically Talented Students)) in which i take 2 years ahead of my grade. For ex. if i’m in 8th grade, i take language, social studies, science, and especially math TWO years ahead. My sister also takes advanced classes and brothers not old enough. So basically, if Immigrants (that are SMART) were to leave, America would become the Sh**iest place on earth.

i personally do not believe that americans are stupid. not all of them anyway. but of course in every country there will be dumb people and smart people.its true that after i moved to indonesia i realized that american schools are too easy. although that is what i believe, it is impossible for all americans to be stupid.there are smart people and dumb people in every country on the globe. in my own personal belief, the american teaching system is better because it has more interaction between the students and the teachers, the opposite of indonesia where the teachers are very strict and arent very friendly.

all in all, i want to say that all people should be treated equally, and so should all the countries on the planet

I will admit that most Americans are ignorant about a lot of things and that our math scores on average are low. That doesn’t mean that Americans are stupid. Your average American will know a lot about what they do for a living. We are very productive workers. They will also know a lot about topics that interest them. Beyond that the average American will be at a disadvantage to the average European or developed Asian country’s citizens. Our best and brightest though will have access to the very best universities, research facilities, and funding in the world and I am confident that they would either be at or near the best on the planet. Since most advances are made by the best and brightest I think it works out well for us as a country.

Laughable… Europe and America have the same problem, they are both controlled by a corrupt banking and government system. This system determines the quality of education. Can’t have the slaves capable of critical thinking, can we? You may want to question your own intelligence. I doubt you truly understand the nature of reality….

Its sad but it’s true. I’m a american in Public School with Honor roll Grades (admittingly i’m not that smart they kind of just give you some good grades in american schools) and I’ve been refused to better classes because of where i live. I’m being chained down by the public socailist education system and i will not allow my children to suffer the same fate. It’s amazing how where still on top in the world but it’s not going to last much longer. Even so when I done school I am getting out of this place before it sinks with me on it.

I had no idea that our IQ average was that low. I would like to say that I am a 14 year old American with an IQ of 128. I would say that I’m significantly above average, and its terrible to think about. I mean, really? I’m the smartest kid in school? I have a C in honors physical science!

All of you guys and girls in other countries, I’d like to defend my people. Yes, many Americans are complete and utter morons. I know this! I go to school with them five days a week! However, I’m not stupid like they are, nor are my friends.

To #Anil, I’m not going to argue with you. In fact, I’m sincerely sorry that you have such a poor opinion about Americans. I would like to give you a few examples of real Americans in high school that I have met personally.

1. Last Friday, the girl who sits next to me in English class learned what FYI meant. Apparently, she didn’t know it stood for “for your information”, she just thought that when someone says it, they’re about to say something really important!

2. I used to have a friend who thought it was okay to go out with three people at the same time. What was worse, the guys didn’t mind at all! She would fly from one guy to the other, and once she was bored, she would get two more! Needless to say, I got sick of her crap and I now refuse to talk to her.

3. Now I’d like to give an example of a smart American. My best friend Devon is a grade younger than me, and she’s definitely smarter than any person my age. Except me, perhaps. We have this ongoing contest to try and figure out which one of us is smarter. It’s all in good fun, of course. For my birthday, we plan on taking a legitimate IQ test together and see who gets the higher one. Now, you might say that I have an unfair advantage because I’m older, but we’re only 6 months apart. Devon plans to become either a sociologist or a criminologist. She enjoys studying human interaction. It’s pretty ironic, too, considering how antisocial she is.

Also, to this Mike person who has commented previously, I would like to request that you either grow a brain, or go drown yourself. 9/11 was a terrible tragedy that was caused by terrorists. Many lives were lost, and you ought to be ashamed of yourself for disgracing their memory! Second of all, any moron, even an American, knows that we landed on the moon. It was sort of on live television, you know! If you are one of those conspirators, I suggest you go watch Myth Busters, because they proved your theories wrong years ago.

Lastly, I would like to remind you all of the American child prodigy William James Siddis (1898-1954). Supposedly he had an average IQ of 250. He entered Harvard University at age 11. There is also Christopher Michael Langan, supposedly “The Smartest Man in America”. He has an IQ of 195.

My point is, Americans do mostly consist of idiots, but we aren’t all that stupid. Fact are facts regarding our IQ, however, I suggest that before you actually dismiss Americans as idiotic, you should try talking to several of them.

Speaking as an Englishman,it gave me great pleasure to read your article on the level of stupidity of Americans. Would you possibly know if there have been studies done on their fascism,racism and seemingly endless hypocrisy? In my country there are a growing number of people who will have nothing whatsoever to do with Americans. They will not buy American goods,media,food and computer programs. They will not speak to,listen to or socially engage with them in any form. In a subjective way I think this is a pity,because I know of at least two good things that came out of US—namely,Steve Jobs and popcorn.
