Well first, other than a select few parishes; most Christian organizations and parishes openly oppose homosexuality (so in other words don’t expect any leniency from the catholic church either……….ever). The bottom line however is that in Muslim dominant countries (with the exclusion of Turkey) it is actually a crime to be a homosexual. So if there are any individuals in a Muslim dominant country that happen to be a homosexual, you’re not going to hear about them.

Also if I’m not mistaken, the author also conceded that male testosterone is not the sole cause in the least for Islamic radical terrorism. So I suppose what I’m wondering is, were you just trying to have you own personal debate with the author?

As for the article, frustration could be a factor, but cutting it down to sexual frustration is a weak arugment. You need to look at other determining factors such as education, political environment, religious extremism, etc.

It really brought home for me how that old cliché – that a boy “becomes a man” when he loses his virginity – is very much true. In America, the angriest people are teenage boys who haven’t gotten laid yet, and grown men who have, but who are repressed homosexuals (we call them “Republicans”).
