I don’t believe in India’s power. iT HAs many problems in it’s own soil. Kashmir, the uprisings in Darjeeling and Sikkim. In my view India has a long way to go before coming into the battle and angrying china. It has first to be more powerful than Pakistan. Pakistan is its neighbour and neighbours can’t be changed. We already know that Pakistan will try its best to match India in military power. There is always threat to India from Pakistan.
While US will remain the world power for more one decade, beyond that I dont’ see the supremacy of US. China, it is learning from the past mistakes of communists state like Russia, vietnam and North Korea. It’s recent military and economic progress is not a joke, look how carefully, they have achieved. US and even the European countries tried every tricks and propoganda to deter it’s progress. US became powerful with its supreme diplomacy and economic progress. History tells that if a leader forgets diplomacy and economic progress, he is sure to be doomed. Now, lets see, with the rise of Bush, diplomacy of US has gone to zero. Economic progress has been halted. Please read the data, statistics and never argue in Patriotic terms. Patriotism can’t save a country in this modern world. THe need is diplomacy, economic progress, vision and military hardware.

The US definitely can defeat Indian army easily, but not China. Not even the US and India join forces to battle with China. Don’t talk like a little baby. Firstly, the US is broke and their morale for their army is dropping. Their military are not well-trained as the Chinese Liberation Army. Don’t underestimate the Communist Red Army because they will fight you really hard. WWII, Vietnam, and Korean War were the good examples (The Red Army fight fiercely). Communist Army can be considered as unbeaten army in the World. Secondly, the US unable to rebuild/regroup their army losses in a short period of time, which means they can’t be able to recover within short time. Thirdly, the US has debts on its shoulder. She should start thinking and negotiate how to pay back its debts to the World, particularly to China. The US economy is suffering setback or slump, unemployment rate increase dramatically, their people future is insecure. People living in the US have to pawn their house and property. It is like living in fear and chaos.

Yes. China does not have guts to attack Taiwan. What for? Indeed. They have the same skin color and they speak the same language. Why they have to fight against other? No point. I beg the Yanks don’t even dare to come close to the Chinese coastline because they have learned many lessons, lessons enough to back off from Taiwan straits and silently return to Philippine water. The Yanks knew it, if they travel near, they will surely become toasted duck.

Yes definitely I agreed with Rajev.India is not country like China and USA but a country of self belief and depend upon own democracy.I Mean day will come INDIA will be the Super Power and it will rule the world,as because India has the supremacy and the ability.India has got the own talent and have the capacity to be the king as because the brotherliness and always belief on the humanity, how to make a better world rather than to destroy it. i always pray for both China and US as well as Russia may the almighty gives them the power but never try to mis-utilise it.Always not to be big in strength but to be big in social harmony and the help of the human being with related to the creature living in jungle and in the forest also.God has given this opportunity to live in this beautiful world not to destroy it for your supremacy but make the world as like a single country and rule the world on behalf of the poor and illiterate.let begin and think like you all are the ruler of the whole and it is everybody”s responsible to make it clean and green for the next gen.

I think it will take a long time before we see anything like a war in this world. Two large powers like China and USA can finish the world 20 times over in their quest for supremacy. I think cold war 2 is already underway and this time it will be fought on the battle grounds of Africa. The Last continent left to be dominated in this world, for natural resources and markets. As a person who has tasted democracy I am on the side of United states. I still believe that USA will not be able to conquer China, it will get into a long drawn out battle or will finish its army doing so and hence it must remain careful. When there is a fight between a King and a Pauper, the King has everything to loose and the pauper has everything to gain. USA should be friend India, a believer in democracy. Sure it has its own limitations but it is the perfect neutralising point for China. A US INDIA allied force against the communists will definetly defeat China. No one in the world can stand against the combined might of the worlds two largest democracies. Americans should think about it.

Colonialism is alive and kicking, but not neccesarily in the old fashioned guise of conquer and control via boots on the ground. The new form of control is through banking, IMF, World bank,etc. The USA as with any power does not wish
to relinquish or concede defeat( the French had a similar problem, Indo-china, algeria etc).If China ever
becomes a power then it too will go through a similar phase of growth and decline. What can be seen from
the comments abve is the usual flag waving jingoistic noises being made by any individual who would
consider themslves a ‘patriot’. China has become quite shrewd in that when doing deals with other nations
the make it a point of stressing that they wish not to meddle in the internal politics of that country. The US on the other hand makes a point of call in sticking its nose into the business of other nations. Man commentators may say
that as a democracy, its job should be to spread democracy by any means neccesary. In this desire for
democracy and liberty, should the US and its people not reflect on the evil meted out to the Native
Americans at the hands of their forefathers(puritan christians). Are the Native Americans not deserving of
justice.

Bob, China isn’t attacking Taiwan right now because it would be stupid to do so, not because they are afraid. The status quo works out well for them and there is little chance that Taiwan is going to declare independence anytime soon. China has become strongly integrated with the world economy and they don’t have anything to gain by taking Taiwan by force. I think what’s more likely to happen is someday China and Taiwan will peacefully integrate. I think China expects that to happen too so they see no point in risking a war just to hurry things up.

China is nothing more than a paper tiger. They don’t even have the guts to attack Taiwan despite telling the world that Taiwan is a break away province. All the U.S has to say is it will defend Taiwan and the Chinese is reduced to empty threats.

The U.S can make every major city in China un-inhabitable for a thousand years if they dare to shoot nuke the U.S way.

Yeah right, China has no match to USA. Statistic, based on the number of nuclear warheads in possession, USA can easily destroy China more than 66 times but China could only destroy USA once! But is there a difference?
