Results of French Presidential Election 2007 - The Intrigue

Nicolas Sarkozy won the French Presidential Elections 2007 whose final round was held on 6th of May, 2007. As there was no absolute majority, there was a second round which decided the outcome of the election. There were a lot of surprises thrown in this election like the support for Royal by left wing party candidates. The biggest surprise was Laguiller backing the Socialist Party’s candidate.
